Please reach us at rick.jimenez@jimenezfleetservices.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

We do all testing on site at your place of business, work, home, or even a public place like a truck stop.

The HDIM test itself is very brief. With the engine running we connect with our diagnostic equipment and connect to the Internet. Once we log into carbs servers, we scan the truck and upload the data to car. At that point, the test is over and we just wait a few minutes for an email from carb with the test results. If you've signed up with the CTC–VIS portal on carbs website you will get an email as well with the results.

1 truck test is $150, Each additional truck tested on same day, on same visit is eligible for a discount. Large fleets have different pricing.  Call us for fleet pricing based on fleet size and travel distance required to test.

If you fail your emissions test carb gives you 30 days to make the necessary corrections and retest.

Yes, we offer after hours and weekend testing.  Nominal extra fee.

Yes, we can test your truck at an RV storage yard. Provided it's not in any enclosed place. It just needs to be outside. Technically we are not working on your vehicle so we are not violating any storage facilities policy.

Yes!  For an additional fee we can setup your accout and send you your fleetwide certificate of compliance.

Your truck was flagged by a mobile emissions monitor for having excess tailpipe emissions.  Your letter has a deadline on the top right corner.  That date is very important and you should never ignore these letters.  You will be fined $5000 for failing to comply, your registration will be suspended and you will not be able to use your truck untill it is resolved.

Once you pay your fees, CARB uploads all the accounts at the close of business M-F.  Then the DMV takes 48 hours for their systems to update and remove holds.  Weekends do not count.

Yes.  The whole purpose of the CLEAN TRUCK PROGRAM is to remove trucks from the road that are out of compliance with current emissions standards.  DO NOT TEST with a deleted system.  Find a reputable shop to restore your truck to stock.  It must pass a service regeneration to verify repairs.  After October, all trucks tested must also have all monitors concluded after repairs.  The monitors vary by manufacture.  Basically you have to drive your truck for a certain amount of time, 3 warm up cycles (WUC), or a certain amount of miles before you can successfully pass a test.

We do not recommend doing business with anyone who offers to do this.  Both you and the person doing this will be fined and the tester will loose his credentials and all his tested clients will come under scrutiny by CARB.  We do not think it is possible to "trick" the system as we must be connected to CARB's servers when we perform a test.  We must have the engine running and connected to an apporved device.  The device collects truck data like VIN, Miles, Soot level, Faults, engine rpm, temperature, MCM and ACM software serial number and much more undisclosed data.

Yes, it is true.  CHP will pay attention to your dash MIL/CEL and if there is an active fault they will cite you for VEH 20419(a) see document below.

Vehicle Code 24019
